Lazaire Typeface Design
A quellazaire is a stick cigarette holder à la 1930s. In creating a typeface, my team kept this object in mind when designing its form. Swirling smoke and film noir were a major influence in the shape and feel of our type. We also created a booklet for advertisement of our type featuring visual poetry and quotes.
